    Control of vehicles carrying these loads is the responsibility of the NSW Police Force and the RTA. Should you wish to report an offender contact RTA Traffic Information on 131 700.

    To minimise disruption to motorists and to ensure that all equipment is fully operational the M5 East closes approximately 5 nights a month. This allows general maintenance and cleaning to be conducted.
  4. Which turnoff do I take when travelling from the south-west to go to the airport?
    To travel to the domestic or international terminals take the Marsh Street off-ramp and turn left at the exit. The route to the airport is signposted to the terminals.

    All planned maintenance closures commence after 8.30pm. This allows for best use of the night to complete maintenance activities and ensures the minimum number of closures.

    M5 East cannot provide video footage of an accident on the Motorway. M5 East can, in response to a verbal request confirm location, date and time ONLY of any incident logged by the Motorway Operators.
